2018 also marks the official opening of ATL’s new high-spec 190,000 sq ft distribution centre and office facility. The Rt Hon Greg Clark MP, Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, performed the official opening at an event attended by over 100 local dignitaries, suppliers and customers.
Franklands Account Executive Phil Cockerton attended the opening and said: “Our business is built on many long term relationships, but 50 years is a truly remarkable milestone. We have seen ATL build itself from a local haulier into the thriving logistics company that it is today, and it has been a pleasure for us to play our part in that journey. Investment in the new hub allows ATL to accommodate the requirements of larger companies, helping to secure a healthy future and we are extremely proud of our relationship.”
Jon Ward, Managing Director of ATL said: “We place great importance on having a partner that understands our risk exposures and can help protect our business while we focus on our commitment to customers and our own business growth. We are very pleased to be working with Franklands.”
